Young stars get the spotlight at Pinoy Pride 41
With big names such as Donnie Nietes and Milan Melindo recently enjoying some success, the focus shifts on the younger stars of Philippine boxing for Pinoy Pride 41 in Cebu this July.
Aptly entitled "The New Generation Warriors", Pinoy Pride 41 is set to be headlined by ALA Boxing Gym's brightest up-and-coming star, the undefeated Mark "Magnifico" Magsayo as he puts his WBO International Featherweight Championship on the line against Daniel "El General: Diaz of Nicaragua.
In the co-main event, another one of ALA Boxing's bright young guns tries to keep his winning streak going, as Jeo "Santino" Santisima faces undefeated Tanzanian Goodluck Mrema.
In one of th featured bouts, the heavy-hitting "Prince" Albert Pagara looks to continue his road back to contender status when he meets Indonesia's Waldo Sabu.
Also on the card, Melvin "Gringo" Jerusalem and former amateur standout Kevin Jake "KJ" Cataraja try to score impressive wins.
