EU Visit De lima in Jail, De lima napahiya nang malaman ang kanyang sitwasyon sa kulungan

A 12-man delegation from the European Parliament (EP) has visited Senator Leila de Lima in her detention facility at Camp Crame in Quezon City.

The delegation, led by four members of the EP Sub-Committee for Human Rights, arrived at the Custodial Center at around 3:30 p.m.Wednesday 

They were allowed to talk with de Lima. 

Soraya Post along with EU delegation visits Sen. Leila de Lima to check on her condition and discuss her views about the human rights situation in the Philippines on Wednesday.

“She seems very good and strong and we discussed her situation and she didn’t complain about the police in her detention,” said Post. But Post said de Lima had told them that she still wanted to be with her family and resume her work in the Senate. 

The EU delegation arrived in the country to check on the alleged human rights violations in the country especially in the government’s war against illegal drugs.
