NPA Muling Bumida - isang Pulis patay!

A police was killed after the authorities and the New People's Army(CPP-NPA) exchange gunfire in Bukidnon.

According to Northern Mindanao Regional Police spokesperson Superintendent Lemuel Gonda,
The NPA rebels and joint combat patrols formed by the Bukidnon Provincial Public Safety Company and the AFP's First Special Forces Battalion in Barangay Concepcion in Pangantucan, Bukidnon The victim identified as PO1 John Herbert Pingol.

According to Gonda, Pingol suffered a gunshot wounds at the back of his body.

He said Pingol was given first aid, but he did not handle the injuries.

The NPAs are from Guerilla Front 68 of the North Central Mindanao Regional Command.
